If you're not able to edit the AbiWord.Profile, then you can go to the system
files, and then to AbiSuite, and there you will find a folder called "dictionary".
If you open the folder and remove the "American.hash" file, then you'll not have
the autospellcheck. This is how it works in Windows, if you're a Linux user, then I
don't know what you can do about it.
