help

Could someone help me regarding my AbiWord installation? I recently
installed successfully AbiWord. However, I made the mistake of not choosing
a "Start Menu Folder". As a result, I cannot open AbiWord to use it. I only
found it in my "search" as a Read Only file. Shall I uninstall & reinstall
the program? And when I set it up the next time, how can I choose a
shortcut on my "desktop" to open it? I didn't see desktop listed in my
choices.
