Hmm it appears that there is something strange and wrong with the
AbiWord-2.4 equation editor in FC4.

I also did a yum update like you.

For me the equation editor loads fine, but Abiword immediately crashes as
soon as enter a formula.

ie.

y = \frac{x}{y}

Causes abiword to segfault.

I suspect this might be caused by Redhat's change from gcc-2.0.1 to gcc-4.0.2

gtkmathview may need to be rebuilt with this compiler too.
