Thank you for your reply.  I guess all I can do is ask you to reconsider this 
as a possibility as I think it would be quite valuable to a lot of people and 
is a fairly standard inclusion in most decent word processors eg StarOffice 
which I am using until Abiword matures enough and contains the features I need 
for everyday use.
Nevertheless I look forward to the next release.
