2 more choice involving format:
If they use a special document format create a document with all of the
formatting and save it as a *.dot file with a familiar/friendly name
e.g. mom.dot. When they start a new document they can go file new and
pick that format.
If they always use one preferred format save it as normal.dot.
Hints:
Save your .dot files in a separate place before you do this so you can
restore.
Do a file new and chose some of the other formats and see what happens.
The nice thing about formats is that you can easily change a whole
document e.g. people often use 2 enters to double space. You can format
the style to be double space, 1.5 spaced whatever.
Using the headings and the outliner is a very powerful way to write (for
people who like to work from outlines).
Word is one of the better pieces of Work from the microsoft
million-monkeys-wriiting-software factory.
