Hi,
i uploaded mockups for the styles dialog we talked about. It's really
a hard one to get right and therefore fun to work on ;-)

It would be really nice IMO if we could reuse the existing dialogs and
embed them, like i did in the mockups.
How could it work:
- In the top part one can select which styles to choose from, the actual
list is in the big combo which acts as a preview at the same time. So
it's possible to "viually scan" the style before selecting it when the
combo is
opened.
There needs to be a clear disinction between the top part and the main
part. This is not yet optimal in my mockups. We need bigger spacing,
maybe an additional label
- The main part is for editing the selected style's properties. The list
on the left is for selecting which kind of properties to edit. We should
put icons there as well as the text that's in the mockups.
The actual dialog is embedded for editing the style's properties. So
everything is together in one dialog and can easily be navigated. Some
of the individual dialogs might of course need some extra work to
perform well in standalone as well as embedded mode.
This is a very quick shot, please let me hear what you think.
Best,
- Rob
