I have also noticed the need for a screen refresh option. By
scrolling an offending line out of the visible window space and
back again, I can usually clear up screen refresh problems like
this. Same way I did in Word, but in a Unix style program, I am
surprised not to find screen refresh as a normal everyday
option. (I know, I know, this is a clone of a Windows style
program, and you all have a lot of other stuff to work on that
doesn't have such a simple workaround...)
