Hi Lee
Simply beyond belief why ubuntu used ver 2.9.2 (a development version in a
stable release) but then little surprises me with ubuntu these days having used
it since 2007. I've switched to Fedora which although is a six month release
seems to be a very much more stable distro. Ubuntu generates
.goutputstream****** file in the home directory every time one logs on.
Fedora uses abiword ver 2.8.6 which is the latest stable release and so far no
problems.
