Dear J. Moore,
AbiWord's hidden text feature is accessible via the "Format Bullets
and Numbering dialog". This is a non-modal dialog so it can be
employed while typing. Our hidden text feature is accessible via the
"Text folding" pane of this dialog. You can hide text within list item
this way. We do not have a "Hidden text" toolbar button.
