HI Ray,
Does abiword crash on a particular document when printing? Or
does it always crash for every document?
If the latter it sounds like your distro has a broken gnome-print package.
You could try building your own version of abiword-2.7.10, which
although technically "unstable" has many more bug-fixes and feature
than 2.6.8 along with a far better print system.
I hope we can get abiword-2.8 released within a week though.
