Disks are big and cheap. And there's still the gzip'd version of the
AbiWord format, which offers good compression. I didn't say that all
compressed file formats were a mistake. Just the BZipped version of
the AbiWord format. AbiWord will continue to read the BZipped versions
of the files, provided that libgsf was compiled with bzip support.

Providing comfort is something that your mother does, not a
compression algorithm.
