Most weird Windows problems can be fixed by uninstalling AbiWord and all
the plugins, deleting the C:\Program Files\AbiSuite2 folder (or similar
- the directory name might be translated), and then installing again
carefully making sure that the plugins and dictionaries you want are
checked. There is no need to un-install or re-install the fonts, just
the AbiWord bits.
You can also install the dictionaries (American English is included by
default) directly from the main setup program - scroll down to the
Install Dictionaries part.
Let us know if that works, either way. Use the 'reply all' feature to
make sure the list gets a copy.
