This is becoming quite embarrassing for me, 'cos I still cannot get a
result.
My command is now:
zed@zed-desktop ~ $ abiword -m /home/zed/Documents/Clients/GHI/HKI
/Form_Letters/Christmas/Xmas-HKI.csv -p - /home/zed/Documents/Clients/
GHI/HKI/Form_Letters/Christmas/Xmasmerge.abw
I have tried with a space as indicated by ^ in the command below
zed@zed-desktop ~ $^abiword^-m^/home/zed/Documents/Clients/GHI/HKI
/Form_Letters/Christmas/Xmas-HKI.csv^-p^-^/home/zed/Documents/Clients/
GHI/HKI/Form_Letters/Christmas/Xmasmerge.abw
and without spaces but somehow I'm still making a mess of it.
At least, with the spaces I don't get an error message. But nothing happens
:-(
I look forward to the day this is able to be done through a GUI!
Regards from New Zealand on a cool but pleasant Friday evening.
