Windows version - support for xmpp collaboration

Hello,

I am new to the list, so I apologize if the question I am asking has
been asked before. I haven't found a "search" facility on the archives
of the list.

The current version of Abiword includes a plugin for collaborative work,
that looks very promising, especially because it is supposed to use the
xmpp protocol. Nevertheless, this option does not seem to be available
on the Windows version of the plugin which includes only a TCP peer to
peeer type of communication, I believe.

Are there plans to make the xmpp implementation available for Windows
users in the near future ?
