i wanted to install abiword behind a proxy and use the auto download
feature for other languages, but it failed.
the same happened with the import/export plug ins installer and the
tools installer
with the main installer, i just downloaded the language from the website
the other two, i cant find i way. i tried downloading by hand, the
file and putting it where it was suposed to be
(according to the log )
ERROR: Dependency download failed. Please make sure you are
connected to the Internet, then click Retry. File:
http://www.abisource.com/downloads/dependencies/libiconv/libiconv-1.9.1-runtime.zip
Remote URL: http://www.abisource.com/downloads/dependencies/libiconv/libiconv-1.9.1-runtime.zip
Local File: C:\temp\libiconv-1.9.1-runtime.zip
NSISdl::download returned HTTP/1.0 407 Proxy Authentication Required
(end of log extraction)
but the zip file is deleted each time the "dowloader" starts, even if
i copy the file after it gave some error and click on the "retry"
button on the gui
is there a way to install it manually ? or tell the installer to go
locally ? (other than editinh the host files to point to my own
webserver in 127.0.0.1 :P )
im using wnidows 2000 (spanish version), behind a corporative squid
that makes my life miserable in lots of ways , trying to install
abiword, tools and I/E version 2.4.6
by the way, sorry for my bad English, and thanks for at least reading it
