Document Marking

I'm using AbiWord 2.4.6, with WIN2000. I find it quite useful and easy to
use. I am puzzled, however by some of the markings I see on my screen.
I've tried in Help to find an explanation, but to no avail.

In my documents words, and phrases are underlined in green. These
underlinings occur in what seems a random fashion. They are not misspelled
words (those are underlined in red). Can anyone tell me what these
underlinings mean?
