If I import a doc file, change its page dimensions to 5.5 x 8.5, and
export the result to a LaTeX file the LaTeX file does not generate
the paper size I set. The generated header looks like this:
-- \documentclass[12pt,a4paper]{article} \usepackage[latin1]{inputenc} \usepackage{calc} \usepackage{setspace} \usepackage{graphicx} \usepackage{multicol} \usepackage[normalem]{ulem} %% Please set your language here \usepackage[english]{babel} \usepackage{color} \usepackage{hyperref} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{0.5000in-1in} \setlength{\textwidth}{\paperwidth - 0.6000in-0.5000in} AFAIK the correct way to set page dimensions for a non-standard page size in LaTeX is to use the geometry package. Ideally the LaTeX output file would reflect what was set in Abiword and not require hand manipulation afterwords.
