I see that the footnote bug has been corrected in CVS Head and should be
backported to Abiword 2.4.x soon. This quick and efficient handling of bugs
is the best advertisement for Abiword. Excellent work. Must be one reason Abi
made the "editors' top word processor" in the latest...Linux Journal
(?)--not sure which mag exactly.
Now forgive the dumb question, but inquiring noobs want to know: Do we have to
wait for the next version of Abi for the fix to take effect? Or does
"backporting" mean I can download 2.4.6 again sometime soon and have the fix
in place?
