Glad it works for you!  I personally used it for a lot of work over the 
last 6 months, and really benefitted from the equation support.  RE the 
manual - most of the documentation there is from 2.2 or earlier, so I'm 
surprised actually that there even is a mention of the equation editor: 
our volunteer developers are more busy developing than writing 
documentation.
