paragraph borders in Abiword?

I'm running PCLOS MiniME p.93 and wanted to keep my
system lean and mean, so I installed Abiword (v 2.2.8
from PCLOS' repository) instead of the OOo package
which is huge and slow. But one thing I MUST be able
to do is place borders on certain paragraphs. (I write
resumes)

I cannot find a way to do that or any reference to it
in Abiword Help. I tried importing a file from MS Word
that had the borders already there, and they
disappear. Same if I bring in a file from OOo that had
borders under the paragraph. Otherwise, I love
Abiword. I'd like to stay with it, but MUST have this
capability.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tim

Quick English lesson
"Your" is possessive. "You're" is a contraction of "You are".
"There" means "over there". "Their" is possessive. "They're" is "they are".
No apostrophes on plurals. No "dog's", no "cat's", no "program's"
Use punctuation/capitalization. It makes your message easier to understand.
