Hello Gerard,

The interesting thing is that WordWeb (which I've used in Windows) is a
Windows-only application. But it is based on Princeton's Wordnet
project, which *does* have a Linux version. The WordWeb FAQ also states
this:

Now supposing that WordWeb is significantly different from (or better
than) Wordnet, I wonder whether an ambitious developer could provide a
plug-in of the free version of WordWeb, one that could be used with
either Windows or Linux Abi, and maybe even function as one of the
components of the $100 laptop project--a great tool for young people
learning to use a great language resource along with Abiword. (Sometimes
I'm so uninformed about these things I cannot begin to grasp how much is
impossible...)
