Issues with double-sided printing?

sent it yesterday and it never posted to the mailing list. I suspect
that it may be because I accidentally forgot to set my email client to
use plain-text instead of HTML, but there could simply be lag issues
with the list server.

Hey everyone -

I've found a strange issue that I was going to open a Bugzilla item for,
but wanted to check around and try to determine the scope of the issue.
I'm running AbiWord 2.2.8 on Windows 2000... when I try to print
documents to a large Xerox DocuCentre printer which supports
double-sided printing, the pages are printed using regular single-sided
printing instead.

AbiWord is the only application on my system that exhibits this
behavior, all other apps print double-sided when this option is selected
in the printer driver's dialog box. This being the case, I suspect that
the issue is probably on AbiWord's side (at least in large part)...
passing along the print job data to the driver in such a way that it
can't print double-sided.

However, I am curious as to whether this is an issue specific to the
DocuCentre printer driver I'm using or if it's common to other
printers. Are you able to print double-sided pages from AbiWord if your
printer supports this?
