It is not a bug, it is a feature. Each document contains all the styles
he own. This is for portability reason. What if you give the document to
someone who does not have a normal.awt that has the same styles ? It
does not change.

If you want to reapply these changes, then you have to re-import style
from the document to the document you want to change. If you have
several, then you have to do that for each.
