Ah, OK. When you installed AbiWord you didn't install the optional
dictionaries for British and German spellchecking. The easiest way to
add spellchecking support for both languages is to select 'de-DE German'
and 'en-GB English (GB)' under 'Download optional dictionaries' on the
components screen during installation. You can either uninstall AbiWord
and then reinstall it, choosing those two extra dictionaries, or you can
download the dictionaries and extract them into your \Dictionary\ folder.
