    No, we went up to 5.8, but that code is unmaintained, and the perl
    version detection bits obviously aren't working well on all systems
    (though there is the occasional report of someone actually using it).

    If you can get it to work, we'll accept patches for review, but
    otherwise it's unlikely that your bug will be fixed soon.

    Be sure to check out the ScriptHappy and AbiCommand plugins. They're
    not the same functionality, but somewhat substitutable.
