And other bits are Windows-only. And MacOSX-only. And
QNX-only. To be cross platform, you don't have to have
exactly the same feature set on each platform. We
strive to integrate as best as possible with the host
OS as possible and do things where they "make sense"
to do so. But we're short on time and developers,
especially in the Windows world.

A bunch of other command line options are available,
even on Windows. For example, if you wanted to convert
DOC to HTML, you'd be able to do:

AbiWord --to=html "c:\foo.doc"

You show me how to print to a PS file from the command
line using MSWord and then I'll be impressed...

And using the PDF driver and printing to a file will
produce a .pdf copy.
 
If you've got complaints, write the few dozen lines of
code that it'll take to print from the command line on
Windows. If not, file a bug. We're short on Windows
developers and free time in general.
