I posted the following query recently but received no help. I would be
grateful for any suggestions.
I am trying to compile AbiWord 1.99.5 from the source on a machine
running RedHat 8.0. When I try to compile GTK+-2.0 for AbiWord, I get
the following:
checking for glib-2.0 >= 2.0.6 atk >= 1.0.1 pango >= 1.0.1... Package
pango was
not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `pango.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'pango' found
I am new to compiling but know that I already have Pango. How do I fix
this so that I can compile AbiWord?
Thanks,
Ted Parks
