the depends for Abiword 1.99.x are far to many to do a dpkg -i on the
packages. Even doing 'apt-get sorce -b' with Sid src in the sources
list ptobably won't work, to many additional pakages will have to be
builts, not for the faint of heart. There is a reason Abiword 1.99.x
is not in Testing, don't expect it to work in Woody :)
