Hello!
Can anyone help me?
On Saturday I spent several hours on a piece of creative fiction. I was very
pleased with my effort. By Saturday evening I had one of the best short
stories I have been able to put together in a long time. I saved the
document as I went along.
However, at around 9.00pm, just before going to the pub to have a quiet
celebration over a pint of Guinness I opened the document..........I found
that
it only opened as a complete page of question marks.......like this:
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
?????????
Is it possible for me to retrieve my work in any way.
The document was over 1,000 words, and I just will not be able to recreate
the
piece from memory..........
I saved it either to AbiWord (.abw) or to Microsoft Word (.doc) I am not
sure which, but it was one of these.
It would be great someone could help me retrieve it. I have tried all the
usual things, searching files and folders etc.
Pat McMahon,
Galway,
Ireland.
