    If you have heavily customized Abiword this will be painful, but delete
      ~/.Abisuite/AbiWord.profile for solving the unchanged settings.
    Someone might have a more elegant solution, but recreating the config
    file should fix it if it is a corrupted file problem.

    I have had mixed results with this in the past.
