Additionally, I was just now able to insert these files into a document
with OpenOffice. I'm sure the problem is one with how I installed
abiword; but there is no way for me to know what it might be. I
installed the abiword rpm's I downloaded from the web site; I remember I
had to install with -nodeps because it kept complaining that I didn't
have all the dependencies, even after I went through the dependencies
one by one and verified they were there.
Maybe abiword just isn't compatible with Mandrake?
