    Static build is broken on FreeBSD.

    The symlink as Dom suggested should work.

    Note that the ports on FreeBSD only contains a gnome port, and it has
    some real problems (fonts, etc.) This is part of the reason I starting
    building these.

    However, the tarball with diving make should work (as noted in the list
    archives here).
