Currently AbiWord for XDarwin runs directly on MacOS X but require X11
to display. It is just the UNIX version that has been rebuild for
MacOS X.
I there is a native version of GTK (ie a version that don't require
X11) on MacOS X, it is likely that we'll get AbiWord for XDarwin run
that way aswell.
In the mean time, there is currently a port using Cocoa in the work.
Just don't hold your breath, as 1.2 is probably still the earliest
milestone target. Surely not a 1.0.x version.
