    Hello Martin,

    Bidi stands for "Bidirectional". BiDi builds of AbiWord
    allow the user to write documents in languages such as
    Arabic and Hebrew, which are written from right to left,
    while handling at the same time ordinary left-to-right
    languages such as English, Italian, and the like.
