You say you edited normal.awt in 3 programs, what programs?
I edit in Abiword, just because normal.awt is the document defaul of the
word processor.

I think that the size is correct. Mine is 1,48 kb.
Do you want I send the file tou you? If you want just replace it in the
folder templates, a subfolder of Abi Suite, in Program Files.
