>
Plugins: I've had no luck with the plugins. At this point in time are they only
operational for Linux users? If they should work with Windows 95, I'll go back and play with them
some more.

The plugins are operational under Windows (for me). Not all the plugins are
available, but the ones that are should work. I didn't try the plugins until
around the 0.99.1 release, so you may want to upgrade to the just tagged
0.99.2 release (I have compiled most of the plugins and they work for me
with the 0.99.2 build). I'm not sure what problems you are having, but I did
find when 1st trying them, that some of the plugins are more specific about
the AbiWord.exe binary being used, specifically, they will fail to
load (probably with an error dialog about some entry point not found) unless
the plugin & AbiWord.exe binary match. And as I mentioned, I have only recently
been using them, so there may have been other progress since you last tried that
I'm not aware of [currently I know of only one bug, and it is listed in bugtrack,
involving the image magick plugin and the 1st image inserted].
[I don't know how much of the desired functionality is actually implemented in
all the plugins, only that of the ones I've compiled, enough is implemented to
be useful, at least for me.]
