I'd expect this to be a recurring question, but it didn't show up in
    the FAQs on the webpages....

I want a command-line tool that can dump out the contents of a Word
file. Since abiword can read the silly things, it seems like a strong
candidate, but the doc up on the webpages doesn't say anything, so far
as I can see, about the command-line.

But on the other hand, because the doc doesn't mention the command-line
_at all_, not even arguments like -display, it seems entirely possible
that such an option exists and just isn't documented. (I also don't
have GTK, but if the option exists, it would probably be easy to
lobotomize the source enough to create a command-line-only version.)
