Hi Keith,
If you possibally can please open a bug in bugzilla with your
document attached. There should be no size limitations in abiword at
all. I've played with documents in excess of 200 pages and cut and paste
works fine.
AbiWord should definately not crash either under those circumstances so
you've run into a bug.
If you can attached the offending document to your bugzilla entry we'll
have a go at fixing the problem.
Please also state what operating system and where you got your binaries.
