I'm a new Linux user and have a similar problem. I just wrote a
document, and while the letters appear fine on the screen, when I
print them many of them at the end of lines either are not printed or
only half of the character is printed. Sometimes this happens in the
middle of a line. If you're interested in the file I was trying to
print, you can download it at humwww.ucsc/phil/logic.syl.2.test.abw
An html version of it(which has the same printing problems) is at:
http://humwww.ucsc.edu/phil/logic.syl.2.test.html. Today I upgraded
from the Debian testing version to the Debian unstable version
(09.0-0.1) but that didn't solve the problems.
I have kernel 2.2 and am printing to an Apple laserwriter. If I save
the file as .rtf and open it in staroffice, it prints fine.
If version 9.2 fixes this, does anyone know when it will be available
as a Debian package?
Thanks,
Ric
