One way that you may try to get AbiWord working
despite all curiosities of installed but not installed libraries - ?! - is
to clean all you have in that is to do with AbiWord and then down load the
gtk+ version of Abiword 0.9.4 friom AbiSource. This suggestion supposes
yuo've beenworking with the gnome version. Has to be said though that
getting bits of that gnome attempt out has given me problems. Still, if
you have a clean partition, an expensive work around, then getting the gtk
version installed, going by my success on a different hard disk, is easy.
