I don't think it's cheating if you say what you are doing.
In many organisations it means the difference between using Abi now or
wait until Abi can export M$ Word.
Because M$ Word format is not an open standard, an export will be
difficult and maybe not so good as an export to RTF can be.

This is about exporting to Word-format, not about RTF with .doc
extention. OK, some people replied with this idea, but that are only
replies on a feature request.

Most people do not open a document with explorer, they use something
like M$ Word. And this shows by default only files with the .doc
extention. And in bigger organisations, you cannot expect that all
people are migrating on the same time.
I want to use Abi as an M$ Word alternative on Linux desktop systems,
not to replace M$ Word on Windows (but maybe that will follow?).
