Hi Peter,
I'm extremely keen to put table support into abiword. However I'm
reluctant to start before a stable 1.0 is out and behind us. I suspect
that getting table support into abiword might render it unusable for a
month or two.

I'd like us to have a nice stable and usable release out and behind us
before starting on this. This require a genuine feature freeze for a while
we do nothing but squash bugs.

I've made a couple of posts on abiword-dev about when to make a feature
freeze. I'll see if we can come to a concesus.

Cheers

Martin
