Subject: spelling - getting dictionaries

Hello, I'm using Abiword 9.4.1 on Windows 95/98. I was trying to get 
spelling dictionaries for Canadian English, German, French and possibly 
some more. The User FAQ directed me to a file of 22 languages at 
sourceforge. I cancelled the download when I saw it was 14.4 MB -- too long 
on a dialup connection when I'm only going to use a fraction of the 
download, if that (because there's no list to show me whether my languages 
are included).
But I saw that there were individual dictionary files at the same spot. I 
downloaded what I hoped was Canadian English (en-CA). This was an RPM file, 
which my system didn't recognise. So I searched for and downloaded a 
utility for that. Unpackaging the en-CA file I encountered an "unexpected 
end of file" error. So I went back to sourceforge and downloaded the 
Australian English RPM file. This worked OK and I successfully installed 
the british.hash file.
It seems to me though that as it is referred to from the User FAQ, this 
whole process ought to be a little less user-hostile. First, could the 
error in the en-CA file be fixed? Also, could all the hash files be 
available as individual downloads? Perhaps as .gz files, which my system at 
least could have handled without further ado.
