Hi folks,
  I've just done a dumb thing.  I decided to give Abiword a try (version 
0.7.14 which comes with Mandrake 8.0) for a project.  Linux has been so 
reliable and stable that I put several hours into editing a document without 
saving it.  You know what's coming next.
  When I tried to paste text from a different Abiword window into the 
document, Abiword crashed on me. :-((    At this point I realised the error 
of my assumptions; while Linux may be rock-solid, userspace programs 
certainly aren't.
  Does Abiword have an autosaved file somewhere?  Or does it have temp file 
somewhere that I might reclaim my work?    I did no configuration of Abiword 
in Mandrake, just opened the program and started working.
