You need to update the following 3 files:
abi/src/wp/ap/xp/ap_Menu_LabelSet_ru-RU.h
abi/src/wp/ap/xp/ap_TB_LabelSet_ru-RU.h
abi/user/wp/strings/ru-RU.strings
The last one has a different format than the other 2. The strings for
this file is taken from abi/src/wp/ap/xp/ap_String_Id.h &
abi/src/af/xap/xp/xap_String_Id.h
You can use abi/po/update.pl (./update.pl ru-RU) and
abi/po/ui-backport.pl (./ui-backport.pl ru-RU) to extract the strings
to a "po" file and then convert it again from .po to .strings. Linux
users prefer to work with .po format because there are tools for it
like kbabel and emacs' po-mode.
The first 2 must be compared with the 2 English files, cut and paste
the lines from there and translate.
Send the 3 files to patches@abisource.com
Voila!
