I just tried AbiWord (0.7.8) for the first time, and it looks great.
It's exactly the kind of small, lean word-processor that's all most meople
really actually need.

I have two questions, though. (I'm running Slackware 7.0 Linux.)

1. I imported a document saved from StarOffice in Word 95 format, and the
document displayed more or less correctly except for some numbered lists,
but I couldn't change any of the character formatting. Is this normal?

2. Is AbiWord supposed to be able to print yet? I tried to print a
one-page document to my LaserJet 4M+ and got page after page after page of
garbage. (I had to kill the print job.)
