Hi there,

        I'm looking for a word processing application to work under X11 on
Linux which can handle password protected MS Word documents. Programs I
have tried so far and failed with include Star Office and Corel WP8.

        So I am wonderding whether AbiWord can handle this kind of
document. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
