This has not been considered, nor is it likely to ever happen. AbiWord is
build on top of a number of different windowing libraries. Each of these
libraries, such as GTK or win32, provide utilities such as focus control,
mouse event handling, and so forth. There is not an equivalent type of
wincoming system available on the PalmOS. This means many features would
which currently take some things for granted would have to be built from
the ground up.

The real question is what kind of libraries the PalmOS will support. For
example, if the PalmOS ever supported GTK, we would be good to go. Of
course, this is extremely unlikely to happen in the foreseeable future.
