They have an excellent TrueType library, which is at the core of the best
(IMHO) TrueType font server, xfsft.

I haven't had the time to look at integrating it into AbiWord (my own projects
are frankly too much already), but it seems to be possible. FreeType is
supposed to be a REALLY GOOD renderer, also.
