Ingo,
I have seen the issue I think you are talking about with the language
naming mess. I'll look for your message in the archives, it must have
slipped past me. I'd be happy to try to help straighten this out so
that it makes developers lives easier and makes for easier addition of
languages.
I have been looking at the templates and I may take a shot at creating
some of the missing ones if I can sort it out.
